We had a great buying experience.

We had a great buying experience. Everyone was very friendly and had answers to our questions. My husband was ready to buy a Honda and as we went by Ford, I told him to turn into there. I spotted the KIA dealership, I suggested that we go there instead of Ford because I had already driven a Ford. He was sold on the KIA after the test drive. We love the car and will recommend KIA of Grand Island to anyone that asks. I only have one suggestion and that would be that you expand your dealership of Ford and KIA to Kearney. There is a rumor that Crossroads may be selling out to Midway which would give them a monopoly on the car sales here. I feel that is not a good situation for the car sales in town and many people are not happy with the experiences that they have had with them. That is the only suggeston that I have. Thank you for the great experience.

This is the second KIA I have purchased from Anderson in Grand Island, NE. The first was a new Sorento which I bought in February 2009. Went car shopping on May 17th as it was my birthday and had not bought a new car in 40 years. I had seen the new Optima on TV and researched it on the internet and compared with other cars. I really loved the sporty look and the features. When I stopped in KIA in Grand Island Marty greeted us as we walked around looking at the new cars. What I liked about Marty is that he did not pressure us at all and answered all our questions about the vehicles we looked at. I purchased a new hybrid and also purchased a used Van at the same time. Susan worked with use on the paperwork and both of them made buying the vehicles a pleasant experience. I will not hesitate to shop their again.

My wife and I hate trading cars but Marty and Susan made the experience as pleasant as they possibly could for us. Marty was both helpful and informative, he answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. We had done some research before contacting KIA, and Marty was able to help us compare both prices and options in comparative classes of cars. We felt the experience was low pressure and would definitely ask for this team if we decided to trade again. Susan was able to schedule us within a couple of days so the undercoating and protective inner and outer coating were applied immediately. We feel if any questions come up as we become more familiar with the car we chose, we could rely on Marty to answer any other questions we had.

We were in Grand Island on other business, and stopped in to the dealership to test drive a Kia Soul that we had been wanting to try for a while. It was late Saturday afternoon and Marty took excellent care of us showing us several models, and getting us in to a test drive. We were very interested in trading for the Kia Soul, so Grant, Marty and the young lady from the contract writing gave us a great offer on our trade-in, an excellent price on the Soul, a full tank of gas and a gas card! Marty took 30 min. going over the controls of the Kia to our satisfaction. There was no pressure to buy, very relaxed and quick for a Saturday afternoon.
They have FREE car wash available for their customers! A 19.95 oil change! 10 year 100,000 mile warranty! It will be hard to go anywhere else with the service we received there.
I would encourage anyone looking to buy a new vehicle to stop in and see Marty or Grant.

We looked online and at different dealerships in Grand Island, Omaha, Lincoln and Council Buffs. KIA of Grand Island we feel gave us the best service. Scott was willing to stay late so we could take the vehicle for a test drive and ask questions. He didn’t once make us feel rushed. We drove it on a Thursday night and went back Saturday afternoon to look at it again and for another test drive. Scott went over everything again in more detail because we had a few more questions. Rich Johnson was very helpful with looking over our trade and Susan was very knowledgeable about the different financing options that were available. While we worked through all the paper work the staff entertained our children. By noon Saturday we we’re driving home with our new KIA. Scott was the main reason we purchased our KIA from Anderson. Thursday night he had already won us over because he was never pushy and never rushed us. Between that and his knowledge of the vehicle made it an easy decision. He also found rebates for us that we didn’t even know existed. We’ll defiantly be back to purchase another vehicle from them.

We went to Kia of G I because I was interested in looking at an optima because of the current lease rates they are advertising and they are the closest to Kearney NE. We were immediately impressed with our salesman Corey because he had a great knowledge of the car and could explain some of the differences between the Kia and other cars we had looked at.

We were not totally sold on the no hassle pricing deal however that is the trend of most dealerships around so it is not uncommon. What did impress us however was that they were willing to give us a fair price on the car we wanted to get rid of compared to other dealerships that basically wanted to steal our car from us.

There were a couple minor details in the paperwork that could have been handled better however they were easily taken care through the mail or with a phone call. We would recommend Kia of G I to anyone looking to purchase a car and Corey Brehm as a salesman.

We needed to find a new or used car that would be reliable and economical to operate since my wife would have to be travelling to work. We became interested in Kias from TV ads and researched them on the internet. The various models seemed to compare favorably with others we looked at (Prius, Volkswagens, Focus, etc.).
I had an appointment in Grand Island and arrived early so my wife suggested we stop at the Kia lot and look at cars. We both found vehicles we were interested in and while we were looking Marty came out and explained features. My wife was interested in a Forte and it seemed to line up with what we were looking for. After my appointment we looked around the various car lots in town and drove several used cars. Before we left town we stopped back and test drove the Forte we looked at in the morning. Marty helped us fill out the paperwork and Jed looked in to financing. Didn’t have to haggle over price and the financing was great. I remembered Marty from high school sports and Jed knows a friend of mine so those connections though coincidental helped ease any tensions. Did not expect to drive home in a brand new car but we did and could not be any happier! Marty showed us how to use the features on the car and helped set up the bluetooth connections and we were on our way. My wife even let ME drive it home!
Kia of Grand Island is highly recommended and we will be back for our next vehicle purchase.

As we started looking for a new car for our daughter, we got on line and looked at KIA’s. Corey contacted us right away after our oline search, he didn’t get pushy with us and listened to what we were looking for. I emailed him in the morning and said we would be over to test drive the car, when we got there he had it ready to go.

I was looking for a vehicle with good mileage and was looking at the Sportage. Marty suggested for about the same money I could buy a Sorento with almost the same mileage and it was a much better sized vehicle for me as I am 6’3″! He had 3 2011 Sorentos and indicated that it was the end of the 2011 model year. My wife and I test drove the Sorento, agree upon a trade-in price and the deal was done!

Frank at Anderson Ford (they also own KIA of Grand Island across the street) was extremely helpful in my car-buying experience. He showed me every car I wanted to see and was extremely knowledgeable about each and every model. We ended up going across the street and looking at KIAs. Even though he worked on the Ford side, he still was able to answer all of my questions about the Soul and fill me in on some things I hadn’t even thought about. The atmosphere of the place was incredibly friendly–when I walked in the door I got smiles all around and was even offered a soda! As for the price, it was much lower than I expected! They had many incentives. My favorite was that they would sell the car to you at invoice (minus other incentives) if you brought a five dollar toy to donate before Christmas. That really made me feel like these people cared about their customers and communities. And even though I decided to buy a KIA, Frank walked us through the buying process without passing us off to a KIA dealer–he even walked back across the street to the Ford dealership to do/get the necessary paperwork so that we could stay inside in the heat. I also really appreciated that he said he would keep my uncle (who has brain cancer and came up in small talk) in his prayers. After that I was sure I wanted to purchase my car from them!
